Enjoy a guided tour in Uppsala Cathedral during the holidays.
Information for visitors
The cathedral is open every day from 8 am until 6 pm. On 30 April and on Midsummer’s eve 20 June from 8 am until 12 noon. When services, concerts or other activities are going on, admission may be restricted.
On the Swedish start page www.uppsaladomkyrka.se there is a calendar on the right-hand side, in Swedish. Choose a date to see what is happening in the cathedral. “Visning” means “Guided tour”. For the most accurate information about events, call the Cathedral Gift Shop on +46 18 430 36 30.
Admission is free but groups with their own guide giving a tour pay a 400 SEK viewing fee. This does not apply to school groups with their own guide. The fee is paid in the cathedral shop or the ticket machine. If the shop is closed payment or vouchers can be placed in the collection box inside the left door.
A brochure in twelve languages is available and costs 10 SEK.
